Squibble have worked with Entrust since 2017.
We have worked on 5 digital transformation projects together, utilising a range of our in-house skills.
In the first 6 months GovenorSpace delivered a Return on Investment of nearly 1,200%
To maintain their market leading position and brand authority, Entrust (in association with the DfE) wanted to develop a new digital platform.
The aim was to improve the quality of school governance in Staffordshire. We called it GovernerSpace.
With ambitious plans to lead the education sector and “help Governing Boards to strive for excellence”, it was clear Entrust needed a bespoke digital platform. GovernorSpace needed to scale rapidly along with the business plans and forecasts.
Core requirements included:
- Improve access to funded training
- Full management of multiple user types
- Full access to self-evaluation audits
- Ability to run and create bespoke reports instantly
- Add/edit training events
- Facilitate peer-to-peer learning
Define the Purpose
The project began with a discovery session, to define the purpose of the digital application.
Based on conversations, with the stakeholders, we produced a visual identity.
Part of the brief stated that the logo, colour scheme and supporting imagery had to be in-keeping with their existing Entrust brand guidelines.
Finally, it also needed to be applicable to the development of future platforms.
The 4 colour concepts presented based on the ‘entrust’ brand colours.
“The logo developed around the use of Entrust’s brand font, Effra. From there we created a logo which indicates the progress and building of knowledge, GovernorSpace would support.”
In collaboration with Entrust, we created user personas which helped guide our thought process and design decisions.
Through wireframes and prototyping, we helped ensure the website’s structure and flow would guide users to the relevant information and also support their KPIs.
The bespoke website consists of 3 user types and each have their own backend dashboards.
As admin, Entrust, have complete control over user management, user generated audits, article creation, training content, bookings, payment and job adverts plus much more.
So far, the platform has enabled over 4,300 users to access free training.
“We’re so pleased with the design and development work Squibble have achieved. We were working to a tight deadline and the whole process ran smoothly. The platform we have now has been a great success and will allow us to expand into new markets in the future.”
We are proud to partner with Entrust and continue to support their growth and expansion with a variety of web development activities.
